The sensorProbe8 extends the sensorProbe™ family with enhanced features to make your remote monitoring easy. A standalone product with no external software dependencies, the sensorProbe8 gives you the very best for your monitoring needs.

The sensorProbe8 is a high speed, accurate and intelligent monitoring device. The SP8 is a completely embedded host with a proprietary Linux like Operating System, including TCP/IP stack, Web server, email and full SNMP functionality. SMS notifications can be sent via a 3rd party email-to-SMS gateway.

The new feature in sensorProbe8 is, the integration with a single chip relative humidity and temperature multi sensor module comprising a calibrated digital output. The sensor includes a capacitive polymer sensing element for relative humidity and a bandgap temperature sensor. Both are seamlessly coupled to a 14bit analog to digital converter and a serial interface circuit on the same chip. This results in superior signal quality, a fast response time and insensitivity to external disturbances (EMC). By having both temperature & humidity sensors in a single sensor, the sensorProbe8 can have up to a maximum of 8 temperature & 8 humidity sensors. This extends the capability of the sensorProbe8 to maximum of 16 sensing parameters.

The sensorProbe8 works with every intelligent sensor in the AKCP family. You can connect any of our sensors in any combination to monitor temperature, humidity, water leakage, Airflow including long term graphing, security, detect AC Power Line Voltage, Measure Digital Voltmeter, control relays, and many more. Our sensors include an integrated data collection and graphing package to spot trends in the airflow, temperature, humidity.

Our Digital Voltage interface allow us to add external sensors such as a gas sensor, flow sensor, pressure transducers etc. The data for this is collected and graphed using the internal memory of the sensorProbe8.

Dry contacts and drivers are available for monitoring UPS status, security systems, air conditioning status.

Upgrade the sensorProbe8 over the network. The sensorProbe8’s advanced encrypted micro code updating program can update your firmware over the internet.

Adaptability for your existing systems

sensorProbe8 comes with 1U rackmount bracket for easy installation in your existing racks and enclosures. The sensorProbe8 a complete fit for your rackmount monitoring solutions with an optional security sensor to tell you when the cabinet door has been opened and a graphical airflow monitoring interface with our Airflow sensor. SP8 system logging records every event in it’s embedded database, you can see a time stamp of when the sensor alarm was raised and the action taken place.
